Trenton is a graduate student in the Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology program. He grew up in Northern California, and attended the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor’s of Science in Genetics and Genomics. At UC Davis Health, he worked with Dr. Yvonne Wan in the Pathology department on metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease. After graduation, Trenton continued to work with Dr. Wan, researching the effects of gut dysbiosis and liver inflammation on Alzheimer’s disease. As a new member of the Kratz lab, he is interested in immunology and cancer biology, striving to discover therapeutic opportunities for hepatocellular carcinoma. Outside of lab, Trenton enjoys exercising, snowboarding, and listening to music.
