Audrey is an undergraduate student at UW-Madison studying Biology and Spanish. She first joined the team in the spring of her freshman year and is now working with Lauryn to predict a potential mechanism of acquired resistance in KRAS, the most common somatic mutation found in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC). She is assessing allelic imbalance in tumor cells to evaluate how copy-gaining mutations of KRAS impede treatment response in pancreatic organoids. Outside of school, Audrey enjoys spending time with her family and friends and running. She loves traveling, hiking, skiing, playing golf, and doing anything outdoors. Audrey is excited to continue learning and growing in the lab and hopes to expand her project over the next few years.
